Aro Carnival 2015 mascot unveiled

Sequel to a successful debut festival, the Aro Carnival management committee on Saturday September 26, 2015 at Eze Kanu Oji Hall, Amaikpe, unveiled the mascot for the 2015 event. It also used the opportunity to present a documentary report on the Arochukwu Kingdom.

The event, which was scheduled to commence by 12 noon prompt eventually took off by 3pm. It was chaired by Engr. Otumchere Oti. Others who graced the occasion included Mazi Emma Kanu Ivi, Dr Nkemka Jombo-Ofo, Mazi Nnamdi Udoh, Mazi Julius C. Imuoh who also represented Mazi George Ezuma, Adaukwu Charity Achinivu, Mazi Jideofo Kanu and several others.

Organizers of the carnival promised the gathering that this year’s event will be better than last year’s.

Highlight of the occasion was the unveiling of the mascot by the chairman of day, Engr. Otumchere Oti ably assisted by other invited guests. They opened their wallets and supported the course.

There was also musical interlude provided by different traditional dance groups which kept the invitees nodding to the rhythm of the music.
