AROSON Lagos branch elects officers

Members of Aro-Okeigbo Social Club of Nigeria (AROSON), Lagos branch, gathered at the residence of Mazi na Odozi Aku Adiele Ohuabunwa on October 28, 2017 for its monthly meetings and also conduct an election.

For several months, activities of the Club were administered by an acting chairman following the election of the substantive chairman and secretary as President and National Secretary respectively.

Done with the day’s meeting agenda, a motion for the dissolution of the house was moved and supported.

Thereafter, a National Patron of the Club, Mazi Emma Kanu Ivi invited the President, Mazi Naira Okorafor and National Secretary, Sir Patrick Asonye to conduct the election. At the end of the exercise, the following officers were elected: Mazi Kanu Oji, Chairman; Mazi Okoronkwo Asonta, Vice Chairman, Ms Delight Uloma Okoro, Secretary; Ugo Okoro, Assistant Secretary/Publicity Secretary; Mazi Teddy Okoroji, Treasurer; Mazi Adindu Elekwa, Financial Secretary; Nwa Mazi Julius Imuoh, Social/Welfare Secretary and Mazi Godwin Nwosu, Provost/Curator.

Oath of allegiance was administered on the newly elected exco by the National President of the Club, Mazi Naira Okorafor.
