A native of Umuogbulafor Uzoakwa, Ihiala LGA of Anambra State, Nwapuruife attended Abbots Boys Secondary School, Ihiala; Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu; Chartered Insurance Institute, London and Kensington University, Hawaii, USA. He worked with United Modern Insurance Brokers, Crusader Insurance, Deputy General Manager and later Managing Director/CEO of Central Insurance Company Ltd and at present Executive Chairman, Souche Insurance Brokers Ltd and Souche Parcel Services Ltd and Director, Metropolitan General Insurance Ltd. He is an associate of many professional bodies. He is married to Ngozi and blessed with children.
