The Council of Ndi Eze Ogo Aro on Friday the 16th of November 2018 endorsed the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr. Alex Otti (OFR).
The event took place at the palatial mansion of Dr. Otti, who had invited the village heads for a parley. The APGA governorship candidate informed his guests that he requested to see them to find out about their well being, inform them that he was ready to take another shot at the governorship position of Abia State come 2019, along with others. Dr. Otti also used the occasion to introduce to Ndi Eze Ogo a few Umu Aro domiciled in the Diaspora but were present at his home at the time of their visit, whereupon he announced to them that Eze Ogo Agbagwu, Elder Isacc Onoh, had turned 92 years.
Responding on behalf of Ndi Eze Ogo, Mazi Charles Okoro Kanu, Eze Ogo Atani thanked Dr. Otti for the invite. He informed Umu Aro in Diaspora who Dr. Otti had introduced to them earlier, that there was enough land for them to build their houses whenever they chose to come back home.

Several prominent Umu Aro, including Mazi Chike Okoroafor, Chairman of Full Moon Hotels; Dr. Emma Nwadeyi; Hon. Nkem Okoro; Mazi Nwosu Nwaka; Mazi Udo Chijioke and Prince Joshua Kanu Oji witnessed the endorsement.
