George Onwuchekwa, former NEPA Chair, buried

Barr George Onwuchekwa, a former Chairman of the National Electricity Power Authority (NEPA), was recently buried at his country home in Obinkita, Arochukwu. He passed on after a brief illness.

A native of Obinkita village, Iyi Ukwu was educated at London University, England, and the University College, University of London. He was a former lecturer, Consultant, Company and Commercial Law, Rotimi Williams Chambers; Pioneer Editor in Chief, Law Reports of Nigeria, past examiner in Law, Nigeria Institute of Bankers, past Director, Nigeria Bank for Commerce and Industry, DPMS and United Geophysical Ltd. Ugwu Aro was an author as well as a member of many professional bodies. He equally served Nzuko Aro Lagos branch and was elevated to the position of Patron. He left to mourn him, a wife, children and grand children.
