1st Bank Arrive Aro
History was made on December 26, 2009 at Aro-Kingdom Historic Centre Site when First Bank Nigeria Plc
opened its branch for business. The management of the bank promised to bring to Arochukwu and environs
world class banking services as experienced everywhere First bank operates. It will be recalled that the bank was
assigned some parcels of land in consideration of some money paid to the kingdom to acquire the land where its
branch now stands. Most Aro expressed gratitude to Dr Alex Oti, Executive Director of the bank and the
leadership of Nzuko Arochukwu led by Mazi Emmas Ivi who worked assiduously to realize the dream. First bank
joins Union bank and the Arochukwu Micro-Finance bank which hitherto provided banking services to the
community.
