Ogbonnaya Akoma

Prolific writer and retired civil servant, turned 56 on the 23rd of October 2015. A native of Isimkpu Arochukwu, he attended ACPS, Amuvi; Methodist College, Uzuakoli; College of Health Technology, Aba; Abia State University, Uturu, and National Open University of Nigeria with additional training in writing. A retired director in Abia State Civil Service and labour leader, Odere Oha 1 is a public affairs commentator; Abia Ohanaeze Ndigbo chieftain; member, Publicity Committee of Okpamkpo Arochukwu; Aro 2002 Commission, Palace Secretary, Isimkpu, Arochukwu; and Isua Ekpe Isimkpu. In 2008, Akoma was voted the most popular civil servant of Arochukwu origin in Abia Civil Service in publicity, author of books; correspondent, Aro News, and a former part-time lecturer on English Language/Political Science at the ASCETA Study Centre¸ Uzuakoli. Akoma is married to Mercy and blessed with five boys, one girl and a grandson.
