A thanksgiving service to mark the 81st birthday ceremony and God’s goodness in the life of Mrs. Mercy Chukwu Okoro comes up on Sunday December 27, 2015 at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Amannagwu, by 9:00am. Reception is scheduled to hold immediately after service at her family compound, Ogo Amasu, Arochukwu.
Madam Mercy Chukwu Okoro was born into the family of Mazi (Teacher) Chukwu Okoro and Madam Mgbafor Chukwu Okoro on February 2, 1934.
She had early education at Aggrey Primary School and later, secondary education at a modern school in Surulere, Lagos. She worked as Secretary/ Typist with the National Orthopeadic Hospital Enugu for 21 years, after which she retired and relocated to the United States of America.
Her children, grandchildren and well wishers are thanking God for blessing them with such a wonderful mother.
