Mazi Charkes Kanu Okoro will on the 29th of December, 2016, roll out drums to celeberate his 10th anniversary as Eze Ogo Atani, Arochukwu.
According to a statement by Mazi Onyema Harbor, Special Adviser to Eze Ogo on Media and Publicity, elaborate preparations are being made for the community to celebrate the anniversary in a grand style.
The event will commence with a non-denominational thanksgiving church service at Atani Hall by 10am, followed by a civic reception at Atani Primary School.
The occasion is expected to be chaired by Pastor (Sen.) Chris Ukpabi, while other dignitaries, including Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Dr Alex Otti, Senator MAO Ohuabunwa and Sir Chikwe Udensi are expected to grace the event. His Majesty, Mazi Ogbonnay Okoro, CFR, Eze Aro; Mazi Okereke Kanu Okereke, Eze Ibom Isii and Mazi Okorafor Uro, Eze Ezeagwu will function as royal fathers of the day with Mazi Chekwas Oti, President-General of Atani Welfare Union playing the role of chief host.
Eze Ogo Atani will also use the occasion to honour deserving persons in the society.
