The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Mazi Bank- Anthony Okoroafor into the board of Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board(NCDM).
Inaugurating the NCDM board alongside that of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation and Nigeria Nuclear Energy Research, President Muhammadu Buhari charged the members to develop the economy in this period of economic recession. He reminded them that their appointments were in recognition of hard work and contributions to the development of the country. The boards are chaired by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu.
A native of Atani village, Ugwu Aro was educated at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. He is the National President of Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PTAN); member of Nigeria Society of Engineers and COREN.
Bank-Anthony Okorafor is the Managing Director of Vhelbherg, Tekad Energy Ltd, Book Energy Ltd and Vhelbherg Imperial Hotels. Prior to setting up the above listed companies, he worked with Schlumberger International in many countries across the world.
