Retired civil servant and community leader turned 83 on the 1st of July, 2017. A native of Ujari village, Arochukwu, Ugwu Aro attended Aggrey Primary School; Aggrey Memorial College and later obtained the Inter B.Sc in Economics (London). He started his working career as a third class clerk and retired as Director, Political Affairs; Sole Administrator, Ikwuano/Umuahia LGA,1989-1990; Member, Local Government Service Commission; Secretary General, Nzuko Aro:1981-1991; President General, Nzuko Aro:1991-1997 and national patron, Nzuko Aro. He is married and blessed with children and grandchildren.
