Civil engineer and retired civil servant, clocked 62 on the 16th of October. A native of Amuvi village, Ugwu Aro was educated at Government College, Afikpo; Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu; University of Science and Technology, Enugu and the Ben Gierion University, Beer Sheva, Israel. He was Chief Engineer; Deputy Director (Water); Deputy Director and Head, Transportation Engineering and Planning and retired as Director, Transportation, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). He is a member of several organizations, a Knight of St. Christopher of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion; Past President, Nzuko Aro, Abuja branch and past President General of Amuvi Welfare Union. He is married to Chioma and blessed with five children.
