SAN, legal luminary and community leader, turned 55 on the 22nd of May. A native of Ndi Aniche Uno, Arondizuogu, Ugwu Aro attended Santa Maria School; Iheme Memorial Grammar School; Government College, Owerri and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Obi Ekunie was the overall best graduating student at the Faculty of Law UNN in 1986 and second best graduating student in 1987 at the Nigeria Law School. He was conferred with the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) title in 2007 and is the Head of the Anachebe and Anachebe Chambers. He is married to Barr Frances and blessed with children.
