Dr. Kelechi Sunny Jigo was born to the family of Mazi Elder Oji Jigo and Mrs. Agatha Jigo on 6th of May 1984. He hailed from Atani Village. He was married to Mrs.Ngozi Obienu-Jigo and the union is blessed with two children (a girl and a boy).

Dr. Kelechi travelled to Manila Philippines and obtained a B.Pharm in Pharmacy in 2006. He enrolled into the school of Medicine and by the year 2011, Dr. Kelechi Jigo graduated with the degree in Medicine.

Upon his return to Nigeria in the year 2012, Dr. Kelechi Jigo did his housemanship with the Federal Medical Center Keffi, where he was a house officer. He also did his NYSC in Community Health where he assisted in planning and implementation of maternal and newborn, attended meetings with developing and funding partners and participated in departmental workshop and trainings.

Until his death he worked with the Federal Medical Center Keffi as a Resident Physician in the department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Kelechi Jigo was also in the professional associations where he was the current Treasurer of the Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Medical Center Keffi. He also served as the Public Relations Officer (2016-2017) for the same association. Dr. Kelechi Jigo was a member of the Nigerian Medical Association Nasarawa State Branch and Atani Welfare Union Abuja Branch.

He died in a ghastly motor accident along Abuja- Keffi expressway on the 12th of March, 2018.
