A native of Atani village, Arochukwu, he was educated at the Eziama High School, Federal School of Arts and Science both in Aba, Anambra State University (ESUT) and the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma. He was an accountant with Tanu Group, Credit Control Manager and Treasury/Credit Control Manager, Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Ltd before venturing into private business. He is a member of many professional bodies and is married to Adaobi and blessed with children.
