Nzuko Arochukwu Worldwide, Abuja branch led by her President, Mazi Ogbonnaya Okereke Akumah on the 2nd day of January, 2020, donated several items to the management of the Arochukwu General Hospital. It is the first phase of the branch’s proposed renovation of a section of the hospital.
It is a known fact that Arochukwu General Hospital is in a deplorable situation and needs urgent intervention from both private and public sectors.
Before the donation of the items, series of meetings between the hospital management and the Exco of Nzuko Aro Abuja, which led to the branch securing approval from the Abia State Government to carry out renovation works on a section of the hospital.
The first phase of the agreement witnessed the donation of the following items, one Einhell Lawn Mower Machine, 330B Brush cutter lawn mower, One roll of 100 meter wire cutter blade, A new power supply line with a credit balance to last for one year May 2019 – May 2020.
It will be recalled that the hospital was cut off from public power supply for several years and its compound overgrown by weeds.
