Queen Gift Madu takes Female hygiene campaign to Aro Schools

The reigning Miss Arochukwu Culture and Tourism, Queen Gift Madu has taken female personal hygiene campaign to some schools in Arochukwu. She equally stated that good personal hygiene is a way of preventing the spread of the deadly Corona virus especially in Schools. 

She made this statement when she visited some secondary schools in Arochukwu kingdom on Wednesday 25th March 2020 as part of her community development pet project. The project tagged: One Girl, One Pad; Sanitization and Hygiene was aimed at enlightening the students on ways to prevent the disease and stay safe and also to sensitize the young girls on how to make use of sanitary pads and keep themselves clean to avoid infections. 

The 1st runner up at the Most Beautiful Girl In Arochukwu 2019/2020, emphasized on the need for school children to maintain  good personal hygiene to stop the spread of the virus and also advised them to avoid close contact with one another. She also educated to sneeze and cough into their elbows or use a tissue paper that must be disposed immediately, and not to touch their faces often. She also taught them how to wash their hands properly in running water while advising them to stay at home after the compulsory close of schools.

Thereafter, she gave out hand sanitizers and sanitary pads to some girls and showed them how to use them. 

The schools visited include, Mary Slessor Secondary School, Amannagwu, M.D Akata Memorial Secondary School, Obinkita and Comprehensive Secondary School, Amuvi, Arochukwu. 

She was accompanied on the visits by N’mazi Obasi Praise Genesis, President Goldsborg Events and Services (organizers of Most Beautiful Girl In Arochukwu pageant), Miss Arochukwu Personality, Glory Samuel and Queen Ifeoma Osondu, Mgbede Aro 2019 and other facilitators.

The visibly excited students and their teachers were full of joy and thanked her for the wonderful act of love for the female gender and Arochukwu kingdom. They prayed God to bless her and make her reign very successful.
