Sen Mao donates ambulance to Arochukwu General Hospital

The ongoing effort to rehabilitate the Arochukwu General Hospital received a major boost recently when Senator Mao Ohuabunwa donated a new, well fitted ambulance to Nzuko Aro for use at the hospital.

Senator Mao also presented assorted drugs and infusions to boost health care at the hospital. He equally presented a generator to guarantee alternative power supply to the doctors’ quarters

The All Aro USA Clinic, Baraki, also received the donation of various drugs and a generator  from Senator Ohuabunwa.

Speaking at the presentation, Senator Mao said the donations were motivated by the desire to arrest the deteriorating situation at the hospital.

He commended Nzuko Aro for rallying Umu Aro to give the hospital a facelift, pointing out that the hospital served the five clans in the LGA.

Receiving the donations on behalf of the President General of Nzuko Aro, the first Vice President General, Sir Dozie Udensi, thanked Senator Mao for the gesture. He pointed out that Senator Mao has always been a worthy representative of the people.

In his remarks, Mazi Dave Imoko, a National Patron of Nzuko Aro, commended Senator Mao for his contributions to the development of Arochukwu.

Present at the ceremony included the Central Working Executive Committee members of Nzuko Aro, patrons, former SSG and a leader from Isu, Mazi Donatus Okorie, and a leader from Ihechiowa, Sir Amah.
