Akwa Ibom State governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has appointed a good friend of Arochukwu Kingdom, Mr. Ephraim Inyang-Eyen, as his Chief of Staff.
Until his appointment, Inyang-Eyen was the Commissioner of Works.
Inyang-Eyen is the first Chief of Staff to Emmanuel since his assumption of office in 2015.
The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Udoh, disclosed this after the State Executive Council meeting held in the Government House, Uyo.
The information commissioner said Inyang-Eyen’s appointment takes immediate effect.
The commissioner said Inyang-Eyen would continue to supervise the Ministry of Works until a substantive Commissioner for Works is appointed.
Inyang, a dependable friend of Aros, is instrumental to the construction of the Odoro-Ikpe-Ikpe-Ikot-Nkon-Obtome-Arochukwu road otherwise known as Uzo Nkana.
