Miss Arochukwu 2019/2020, Precious Akabueze, celebrates Ikeji with widows


Miss Arochukwu 2019/2020, Queen Precious Akabueze, during Ikeji Arochukwu 2020,  reached out to Arochukwu widows with her pet project tagged “Reach out to the widows and share love.”

The beauty pageant used the opportunity to hand out gifts to selected widows in Aro. Collaborating with the Passionate Elderly Care Initiative led by Mazi Ottih Nwaka, several widows were visited on Eke Ekpe day. Some of the widows who could not come out of their homes to receive the gifts, were visited to their houses.

One of the widows, Madam Nnennaya Okoroafor thanked the queen specially for her love and care for widows. She prayed God to continue blessing the young queen in all her endeavors.

Miss Aro was accompanied by N’mazi Praise Genesis and Mazi Ottih Nwaka of the Passionate Elderly care initiative.

In another development, Adamazi Queen Nwankwo has been crowned the second face of Ikeji Aro (Mgbede Arọ Okeigbo). The contest which was held online due to the Covid19 pandemic saw Queen, garner the highest vote to beat her other opponents. 

For her efforts, Adamazi Queen, went home with the sum of #50, 000. The first runner up,Queen Chidimma Anyasi was crowned Adamazi Aro, while Queen Jovita Okoronkwo finished third.

The Queens are expected to carry out pet projects before the expiration of their tenure in September next year.
