Pharmacist and businessman clocked 76 on the 15th of September. A native of Umuabiama village, Ajali, he was educated at Government Secondary School, Owerri; Nigeria College of Arts, Science and Technology at Enugu and Ibadan, and the University of Ife, Ibadan. Ugwu Aro was medical representative, Nigarco, Lagos; Hospital and Sales Pharmacist, Ministry of Health, Enugu; Medical representative, Head of division, Executive Director and Chairman, Swiss Nigeria Chemical Co. Ltd (Ciba- Geigy). He is at present, Managing Partner, Bruno and Beckett Ltd; Chairman/CEO, Briques Ltd and Brumen Petroleum. He is a past President General of Ajali Welfare Union; past Chairman, Board of Fellows, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria etc. He is married to Lios and blessed with children and grand children.
