Medical practitioner and politician turned 61 on the 1st of July,2017. A native of Ndiowu Town, Orumba North LGA of Anambra State, Ugwu Aro obtained the MBBS degree from the University of Nigeria, Enugu campus. He is a Senior Registrar, Internal Medicine; Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Transport: 1999-2003; Deputy Governor, Anambra State, 2003 and was re-elected into the House of Reps in 2007. He is credited with the passage of the Cabotage Act presently in use in Nigeria. He is married to Nneka and blessed with children.
