Journalist, Politician and Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives clocked 50 on the 24th of March. A native of Mbutu Aboh Mbaise, Ugwu Aro attended St. Ephraim’s Secondary School, Owerrinta; University of Lagos; Stanford University and Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He was Press Officer to the Senate President; Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Senate President; Special Assistant to the Vice President; Chief Whip and at present, Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives. He is also PDP’s governorship candidate for Imo State. He is married and blessed with four children.
