Still continuing his philanthropic gestures, Mazi Emma Nwadeyi recently released funds for the rehabilitation and furnishing of a section of the government quarters at Baraki, occupied by men of the Nigeria Army. The building, which was almost caving in due to neglect and heavy rainfall of several years, is currently housing the soldiers living in Arochukwu.

Unable to continue living in the dilapidated buolding, the soldiers had at various times threatened to leave Arochukwu if nothing was done to alleviate their sufferings after several appeals they made both to the government and individuals failed to yield results. For instance, they complained of sleeping on bare floor without mattress and were also at the mercy of the elements of nature which most times were harsh on them.

This was the situation until their predicament was brought to the notice of Mazi Nwadeyi who swung into action immediately by releasing the funds to give their abode a facelift.

On the last visit, Aro News observed rehabilitation work in progress.
