Economist, banker and traditional ruler turned 82 on the 11th of September. A native of Ndiogbuonyeoma village, Arondizuogu, Ugwu Aro attended Scottish College of Commerce; London School of Economics, University of London and School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Eze Ohazurume was Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, UNILAG; Pioneer Executive Director, Monetary and Banking Policy, Central Bank of Nigeria; Chairman, Union Bank; ACB International Bank; Evergreen Associates; Green Nwankwo Foundation; past director, Chartered Bank; Abatex; Ocean Fisheries Ltd etc. He is listed in many who-is- who all over the world and was installed Eze Aro Amuro in 2005. He is married to Ugoeze Umenwa and blessed with children and grandchildren.
