Nzuko Aro Women’s Wing holds 2020 prayer convention

Arochukwu women under the auspices of Nzuko Arochukwu, Women’s Wing Worldwide gathered at the Aro Kingdom Historic Civic Centre, Oror  to intercede for the land from Wednesday 5th February and ended with a night vigil on Friday the 7th of February 20202 with Evang. Chidi Nwankpa ministering.

Day one of the event was titled: Lord, Behold Your Land. The need for continuous praise and Thanksgiving for the manifestation of God’s mercy and grace was emphasized. The observable unity of purpose amongst all trying to change the face of Aro through internal road networks, health-care facilities rehabilitation of dilapidated schools and official quarters of judges are all God’s doing

Day two witnessed prayers and confession of sins. Ezra 15:1-9. Despite God’s blessings in the land, idolatry and other forms of iniquities abound

On day three, the necessity for a united worship and its frequency was proclaimed. The minister urged the men and the young ones to take up the mantle of Priesthood given to them by God to make this prayer convocation a joint venture. Deut 32:1 was used for declarations and proclamations on the land.

The prayer convocation was wrapped up with a night vigil on Friday the 7th of February night. Testimonies on the handiwork of God since the last convocation were shared. Prayers were intensified and deliverance from varied afflictions confessed.

The President General Lady Bright Elekwa thanked the Ministers for allowing God to use them as a vessel of good works and prayed for continuous growth of their Ministries. She also called on the entire Aro kingdom especially the Nzuko Arochukwu Men’s Wing to take over their responsibilities as Priests of the family for greater manifestation of God’s glory in Arochukwu.

In her remarks, the Spiritual Director of the Prayer Convention, Evang Chinyere Lancaster Okoro (Adaukwu) expressed gratitude to God for the success of 2020 prayer convocation. She thanked all the women that came out en mass to intercede for the land.
