As the occasion draws near, the President of Aggrey Memorial College Arochukwu Alumni Association, Mazi Emma Egbukwu, has urged all members to turn up for this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) holding December 31.

Already, arrangements are being perfected for the event.

As with last year’s, venue of the meeting is Abna Hall, in the college compound.

In order to have a successful AGM, President of the association, Mazi Egbukwu, has urged all the standing committees to prepare their annual reports for presentation at the occasion.

Indeed the totality of the annual report would capture the state of affairs in the association, which will form the basis for robust deliberations going forward.

Apparently conscious of the peculiar nature of this year’s AGM, Egbukwu said:

“I know it has been a very challenging year for all of us but the show must go on. Yes, the world is gradually embracing the challenges occasioned by the corona virus pandemic and we are fast adjusting to the new normal.

“Let us therefore renew our strength in our avowed commitment to Make Aggrey Great Again (MAGA) as we prepare for the 2020 AGM.

“Despite the global pandemic, we promise it will be a successful AGM.

Looking forward to a robust engagement and participation from everyone,” he concluded.

The alumni association has the ambitious plan of retooling the institution to a model college reminiscent of its heyday standards, hence all the old students around the world are enjoined to join hands for the task ahead.

The leadership of the association is confident that a gathering such as the planned AGM is the ideal platform to rub sound minds on the roadmap to achieving the set goal.
