Amangwu Development Union makes giant strides as Iroegbu marks one year in office as PG

The President General of Amangwu Development Union, Mazi Kanu Iroegbu, will on December 29, 2020, mark one year in office. 

Elected into office barely a year ago, Mazi Iroegbu and his Exco have made positive developmental strides in Amangwu.

Some of the projects embarked upon by the team include, championing the COVID- 19 awareness campaign and distribution of preventive materials such as sanitizers, nose masks and hand-washing buckets during the peak of the pandemic; distribution of palliatives such as rice, and other food items to 12 ADU branches nationwide and installation and replacement of the transformer serving Amangwu, Asaga and Isimkpu villages.

Others are construction of Ngene Elemanya culvert and grading of the road from Ngele Elemanya through Amangwu new site to Iyi-agwọ.

Mazi Kanu Iroegbu said that it would have been difficult to achieve the much achieved without the support of Umu Amangwu at home and in the diaspora who rallied round to actualize the vision of his team.

He hailed the sagaciousness of members of his executives and thanked God for the peace and unity that Ndị Amangwu have enjoyed in the past one year and prayed for continuous progress in the community.
