The Atani Welfare Union, Lagos branch, on November 7, elected the Secretary General of Atani Welfare Union, Mazi Henry Nsidinanya as its President.
In an election conducted by Mazi Adindu Elekwa, Chairman; Madam Shabet Okoronkwo, member and Mazi Alozie Nsirimobi, Secretary, Nsidinanya defeated Mazi Solomon Alicho and Mrs. Ebere Nwosu to emerge President.
Others elected alongside Nsidinanya include, Mazi Solomon Aliche, 1st Vice President; Mrs. Ebere Nwosu, 2nd Vice President; Onyinyechi Arukwe, Secretary and Franklin Ogbonna, Assistant Secretary.
Adanma Agu was elected Financial Secretary; Paul Eziohuru is to serve as the Assistant Financial Secretary while Madam Boma Nsirimobi is the Treasurer.
Madam Margaret Okoro and Adamazi Uzunma Okoro are to serve as Welfare Officer and Assistant Welfare Officer respectively. Mazi Chris Udo was elected the Union’s Publicity Secretary and Mazi Onyema Michael Adolphus as the Provost.
An oath of allegiance was administered on the team by Mazi Adindu Elekwa.
