Members of the new Atani Welfare Union, Asaba the capital of oil rich Delta State recently elected officers to pioneer the affairs of the branch

The President General of Atani Welfare Union, Barr Kenneth Ogbonna had pointed out that one of the cardinal points of his administration is to inaugurate new branches of the union both at home and the Diaspora.

In an election supervised by Barr Ogbonna, Mazi Ogbonnaya Ajunwa, who doubles as the Vice President General of Okoro-Okpong Family Union, was elected President. Others elected alongside Ajunwa are Mazi Justin Anicho, Vice President, and Mazi Chima Oji as Secretary.

Nwa Mmazi Chijioke Amaefula was elected the Financial Secretary, Evgn. Mrs. Praise Adiele, Treasurer, and Mazi Uche Ogbonnaya as Welfare Officer. 

Mazi Ndubuisi Okoro is to serve as Provost, Mrs. Gloria Oji, Woman Leader with Mrs. Anietie Amaefula as the Assistant Woman Leader, while Mazi Mba Allison Amaefula is to serve as Patron.
