Pharmacist and businessman turned 80 on the 15^th of September. A native of Umuabiama village, Ajalli, Orumba North LGA, Ugwu Aro attended the Government Secondary School, Owerri;  Nigeria College of Arts, Science and Technology, Enugu campus, the University of Ife, Ibadan, the Management Centre, Europe and the Institute for Management Development, Lausanne, Switzerland. He rose from the position of a Medical Representative to Executive Director and later Chairman of Swiss- Nigeria Chemical Company Ltd (Ciba Giegy) and at present, Managing Partner, Bruno Beckett Ltd, Briques Ltd and Brumen Petroleum. He is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and many other bodies. He is married to Lois and blessed with children and grand children.
