For Aros resident at home and in the cities, this is a piece of good news.

Soon, the burden of having to pay huge, oft times unjustifiable electricity bills, will soon be a thing of the past.

The hope for a reprieve comes on the heels of a recent disclosure of plans to start installing electricity prepaid meters in homes in Arochukwu Local Government Area.

The plan was disclosed through a statement by Chimezie Okorafor, media aide of Hon Mike Ukoha.

He said: “The office of the Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, by this release, wishes to inform the good people of Arochukwu LGA, that his office has been able to secure some Electricity Prepaid Meters, from the EEDC, for distribution to constituents of the LGA.

“Interested individuals and groups from Arochukwu LGA, are to forward their names, phone and location of property to this Whatsap 08062709660 for proper coordination and distribution,” he said.
