Master Evans Chigbo Okoronkwo, a native of Ugwuakuma village, recently emerged as one of the top scorers in the 2024 UTME examinations in the country.
With an aggregate of 352 from English Language (75), Mathematics (95), Chemistry (95) and Physics (87), Chigbo not only made his family proud, but the entire kingdom,
Master Evans aspires to become a chemical engineer and he is eternally grateful to Mazi Kanu Azuturumuo Kanu (Ugwu Aro) and his wife, Lady Mary Kanu, for offering him a scholarship to study at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Warri, Delta State.
His parents, Mr. & Mrs. Francis Okoronkwo Okwara, and the entire leadership of Ugwuakuma Development Union, (UDU), are full of appreciation to Mazi Kanu A. Kanu and his wife for this wonderful gesture.
