How Stephanie emerged winner of 6th MBGA

Okoro Ijeoma Stephanie was on the 1st of January, 2023, crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Arochukwu. The event held at Arochukwu Civic center, Oror, Arochukwu  and was tagged,  “The Game Changers edition”  The pageantry is in its 6th edition. 

The new queen went home with a  Toyota Spider car as promised by the organisers. The car gift was handed over to the winner by Mr and Mrs Onyedikachi Nkemakolam on behalf of Dikachife International Agency, donors of the car, while the runners-up received cash prizes respectively. 

Sixteen beautiful girls representing 16 Aro villages contested for the very coveted crown with three queens emerged winners of different categories,  Queen Okoro Ijeoma Stephanie from Obinkita, emerged the Most Beautiful Girl in Arochukwu also known as Miss Arochukwu 2023. Onwumere Fidelia from Asaga was crowned the 1st runner up while Uche Florence from Ujari emerged 2nd runner and also Miss Arochukwu Personality. 

Queen Ijeoma Okoro in an interview after the show informed Aro News that she had prepared hard for the competition and was confident in herself after gathering experience in modeling over the years. “I have always wanted to be Miss Aro, I had to first learn everything there is to so that I would be unstoppable when I eventually come for it. I want to say a big thank you to the sponsors, Dikachife International Agency and the organizers, Goldsborg Events and Services for putting up this great show and for giving Aro girls an opportunity to live their dreams”. 

The 6th edition of the show came with lots of packages as promised by the organizers. Top Nigerian celebrities were in attendance including Nollywood stars Sam Sunny and Happiness Kalu, Akunna of Nigerian Idol, Dj Cookie, Dj Maffy, Dj 214, Ike Oha, Hypeman Crazy, Sparkle Tee and Duncan Mighty who performed at the after-party. 

It was also a chance for up-and-coming Aro stars to showcase themselves as the likes of Forinar, Trinity Kings, Sugar Lipz and a thrilling performance by Emmanuel Theatre Academy to wrap up the night.

Speaking to the press after the event, the CEO Goldsborg Events and Services, Obasi Praise Genesis said “For the very first time you can see the civic center is filled to the brim and almost unrecognizable and you also see that everyone that matters in Aro turned out tonight to see this show . You can tell that the upgrade is massive due to the organization of the event – plenty thanks to our sponsor Mazi Dikachi Nkemakolam and his beautiful wife and especially to our team for putting in effort to achieve this. We brought Lagos to Arochukwu and this has come to stay”.

A release from the organisers say registration for the 2024 edition will begin in Easter 2023.
