The leader of the delegation from UAYM, Amb. Ogechi Ohabughiro said there was an urgent need at this time for Arochukwu youths to unite and speak with one voice and participate fully in the 2023 general elections. He said it was expedient for the youths to invite all the candidates from across all political parties vying for public positions especially Abia House of Assembly to meet at a table with the youths and sign a Memorandum of Understanding where the youths will hold them responsible if they fail to deliver their electoral mandate.

Amb Oge said the time was right for this to be done adding that this could be achieved only if all the Youths come together as a force. In his response, the President of the Council, Comr. He encouraged forward-thinking individuals to come up with ideas that will shaped the sociocultural and socioeconomic landscape of Aro Okeigbo. He promised to support the group to ensure that their vision is actualized.
