Retired civil servant and community leader clocked 68 on the 10th of April. A native of Atani village, Ugwu Aro was educated at Lagos City College and the Petroleum Training Institute, Warri. He worked with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and retired in 2001 as Chief Technical Officer. He was Secretary and later President, Nzuko Aro, Warri branch; Chairman, AROSON and Atani Welfare Union, Warri branch. A man in tune with his community, he is traditionalist and is married to Ngozi and blessed with children.
