The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ajao Estate, Oshodi Parish, Lagos State, on July 31, 2022, ordained Mrs. Nnennaya Nwankwo as an elder.
She was ordained alongside five other parishioners who were found worthy in character and dedication to the work of God.
A native of Obinkita village, Mrs. Nwankwo attended Araromi Primary School, Olodi-Apapa, Lagos; Trinity Secondary School also in Lagos and the University of Lagos.
She worked at Five Oceans Nigeria Ltd and later United Bank for Africa, serving for over 17 years in various departments before her voluntary retirement in 2005. She is at present, proprietress of Nick Fashion Ventures.
She has held several positions in the Presbyterian Church including Treasurer, Women’s Guild, Apapa parish; Vice President, Women’s Guild, Apapa and Oshodi Parish; Acting President, Kingdom Partner Member, Welfare and Marriage Committees etc.
Mrs. Nwankwo is also a member of Nzuko Arochukwu women’s wing, and Obinkita Progressive Union, Lagos branch.
She is married to Mazi Chinedu Nwankwo and they are blessed with children and grandchildren.
