Akaepuchi Onwa was Assistant Secretary General, Nzuko Aro; Vice President, Atani Welfare Union, Lagos branch, Chairman, Publicity Sub Committee, Aro 2002 Commission; Vice President, Omenuko Fraternity, Arochukwu. He is married to Chinwe and blessed with children.
