Members of the Federated Arochukwu Youths Association (FAYA|), Abuja branch, on January 7, 2022 honoured the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel (Ugwumba Aro), by decorating him with the prestigious Omu Aro wrapper.

The event took place at the Berekete Family Studio, Abuja.

Chairman of the branch, Ubachukwu Nnanna, who was represented at the occasion by Chuks Harrison Ukwu, thanked the governor for his infrastructural development, which extended to the rehabilitation of Nkana road and two bridges, thus easing traveling along that axis.

Ukwu recalled that the 2021 festive season was a pleasant experience as travelers had a hitch free movement from Akwa Ibom to Arochukwu and back, through Ini LGA. He also explained that the road is now the major connection between Arochukwu and the world owing to the dilapidation of the Arochukwu-Ohafia road and the Ndi Okereke Abam road.

In his response Governor Udom Emmanuel thanked FAYA for the honour, and pledged to continue with his developmental strides in Akwa Ibom State and beyond.
