Arochukwu Local Government Area recently recorded a historic milestone as the Mayor, Engr. Dr. Okereke Eze Aru, signed into law three Bye-laws passed by the 7th Arochukwu Legislative Council.
The bye laws, including one on the Movement of all Transporters to the Central Motor Park, was sponsored by Hon. Hector Nwankwo.
Hon. Okwudiri Kalu Okore sponsored the Bye-law on the Identification and Registration of all Commercial Motorcycles while Bye-law No 8 is an Executive Bill on Year 2025 Estimates of the Local Government.
The first two crucial laws are timely and strategic steps towards addressing the challenges of insecurity, particularly as Arochukwu shares boundaries with two neighboring states. While the bye-law on 2025 Estimates is a cardinal law that has made the local government outstanding.
Honourable members of the House worked assiduously with commitment and doggedness in ensuring that the legislative arm continues to deliver on its mandate with diligence and integrity.
