History repeated itself in grand style as Atani community once again emerged in the first position at the prestigious Eke-Ekpe Ikeji Festival Cultural Competition, 2025.
This remarkable victory, secured against strong contenders, has not only brought glory to Atani but has also stamped its name once more in the golden pages of Arochukwu cultural pride.
Recall that the community took the first position at the 2024 Eke Ekpe Aro completion.
Aside emerging overall first in 2024, Atani won all trophies at the podium including most organized troupe. What makes this victory even more significant is that it is the first major achievement of the newly re-elected national executive of Atani Welfare Union, Worldwide, under the leadership of Barr Kenneth Ogbonna. Indeed, it is a positive sign of greater days ahead.
The Cultural Technical Team led by Mazi Tochi Okoro, brought in skills, discipline and strategic excellence that shaped the group’s outstanding outing, while the Nwanne Di Uto Age Grade’s cultural strength, dedication and resilience added fire to the performance that swung victory in Atani’s favour.
