Chijioke Prof. Okoro Mark, professor of electrical and electronic engineering, turned 88 on the 6th of February. A native of Isimkpu village, Ugwu Aro attended the Grammar School, Okirika; University College, Ibadan (foundation student); Queen Mary’s College, University of London. He is the first Nigeria professor of electrical and electronics engineering. He is pioneer Rector Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Chairman, PRODA, former Dean at UNN, foundation member of staff at ABU and at present, professor of physics and mathematics, Godfrey Okoye University. He is married to Mary Ellen and blessed with children and grandchildren.
