Umu Aro domicile in Lagos, the Center of Excellence converged at the residence of the Chairman of Aro News Publications Ltd, Mazi Emma Kanu Ivi on Friday, the 24th of March 2023, to celebrate the victory of Dr. Alex Otti as the governor elect of Abia State
In his remarks, Mazi Emma Kanu Ivi who also doubles as a National Patron of Nzuko Aro, thanked God for the total liberation of Abia State through the emergence of Dr Alex Oti as Governor Elect. He further commented the efforts and sacrifices of all Umu- Aro who travelled from Lagos and other parts of Nigeria to Arochukwu LGA, Abia State, to participate in the voting process of the 2023 General Elections . Mazi Ivi specifically thanked the President of Nzuko Aro Lagos Branch, Mazi Eugene Onoh Onyeike for his selfless sacrifices throughout the presidential and governorship election.
Responding on behalf of the invited guests, Mazi Okorafor Nwagugo (Naira), the immediate past President of Aro-Okeigbo Social Club of Nigeria, (AROSON), applauded Mazi Kanu Ivi for the warmth reception ,and for finding time to interact with his people despite his tight schedules and prayed God to bless and give Mazi Alex Otti, divine knowledge to carry out the task ahead towards making Abia State a better place for all and sundry.
The whining and dinning continued into the wee hours of the night with plenty to eat and drink
