Retired public servant and author clocked 89 on the 9th of November. A native of Aro –Orji, Ugwu Aro attended St Patrick College, Ikot Ansa, Calabar, Nigeria College of Arts, Science and Technology and the University of Ife. He retired as a Chief Protocol Officer in Imo State, former Commissioner, Imo State Local Government Commission, Chairman/CEO, Winconsult Ltd and the first Imo indigene to receive the WAI certificate from the Federal government. He is married and blessed with children and grandchildren.
