He was Chief Press Secretary to the Vice and President of the Senate; CEO, First Page Communication Ltd; Special Assistant to the Vice President on political matters; was elected into the House of Representatives in 2003 to represent Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency; was elected Chief Whip of the House in 2007 and Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, 2011-2015. He was the Peoples Democratic Party’s flag bearer for Imo State in the 2015 general election. He is married and blessed with four children
