Novelist and traditional ruler turned 88 on the 28th of April. A native of Ezinkwo village, Ndikelionwu, Orumba North LGA of Anambra State, Prof attended CMS Central School, Nnewi; Government College, Umuahia; University College, Ibadan and the Stanford University, USA. He was Administrative Assistant, Assistant Registrar, University College, Ibadan; first Nigerian Registrar/CEO, West African Examination Council (WAEC); past Director, Daily Times, University Press and Chairman/CEO of Nigerian Book Foundation. Amongst his published works include One Week, One Trouble, Toad For Supper, Sunset at Dawn etc. Ugwu Aro is listed in several Who is Who. He is married to Prof. Adebimpe with grandchildren.
