Former Registrar/ CEO of Medical Laboratory Science Council, turned 60 on the 12th of December. A native of Obinikpa Village, Ajalli, she attended Township School, Port Harcourt; Queens College, Enugu; Medical Laboratory Technology of Nigeria; FIMLT Laboratory Management and the University of Lagos. She joined the Medical Laboratory Council in 1979 and retired as its Registrar in 2009. She is a member of many professional bodies. She is the widow of Sir Obiemeka, and blessed with four children.
