There is joy in Arochukwu today as a new Executive take over the mantle of leadership in Nzuko Aro Home Branch for the next three years. This followed the election held in Saturday, 30th of November 2024 at Nkwobi Hotel Obinkita, Arochukwu. The election conducted by the 1 st vice president general of Nzuko Aro, Mazi Eugene Okey Imuoh, which was a resolution by the whole house to return the entire team of the caretaker committee and so the following officers emerged: Mazi Ejike Okoronkwo-
President, Mazi Nwoakoro O.J -1 st Vice President, Mazi Amaobi Okoronkwo- Secretary, Mazi Nduka Christopher- Asst. Secretary, Mazi Benjamin Onyeocha- Financial Secretary, and Mazi Okereke Okoroafor- Treasurer.
The others were Mazi Chibor Nwachukwu – Welfare Officer, Ikpendu Kanu- Publicity Secretary, and Mazi Ekwubiri Obedi Uwakwe- Provost. In his post-election speech, the president of the branch Mazi Ejikw Okoronkwo thanked the members of Arochukwu branch for their understanding in retaining the caretaker committee as duly elected executive committee of the branch.
He said that the action translated “ to vote of confidence” and promised never to let them down, promising to carry every member along in running the affairs of the branch. The event was witnessed by the patrons of the branch including Chief Hon. Nkem Okoro, and Hon. Jideofo Kanu. HRH Eze Amos Ngwu Egbu Okoro, Eze Ibom isii, also witnessed the event.
