Obaa Elected President of Nzuko Aro Umuahia

Members of Nzuko Arochukwu, Umuahia branch, converged on the meeting venue at the Abia State capital on Sunday, November 5, 2023 to elect officers to pilot its affairs at the expiration of tenure of the last executive.

Subsequently, a three-man electoral committee consisting of a Patron and two past Presidents Mazi Orie Orji(Chairman), Mazi Sunday Uche (member), Mazi Solomon Nnorom (member) where inaugurated to conduct the election in keeping with the branch constitution.

At the end of the exercise, a retired civil servant 1st Vice President General of Atani Welfare Union, Mazi Nnamela Obaa was elected as  President of the branch. Others elected to serve alongside Obaa were Mazi Chidi Uche Okoro, First Vice President; Mazi Chijioke Okoro, Second Vice President; Mazi Chimezie Okoronkwo, Secretary and Mazi Enyinnaya Edward, Assistant Secretary.

Others were Mazi Emeka Iroakasi, Financial Secretary; Mazi Chibo Williams, Treasurer; Ikenga Chima Okereke, Publicity Secretary; Mazi Ndubuisi Orji and Mazi Ugochukwu Obasi emerged the union’s Provost 1 and 11 respectively. 

Oath of allegiance and due diligence was administered to the team by the patrons of the branch.
