The President-General (P-G) of Nzuko Arochukwu Worldwide, Mazi Dozie Udensi, has announced the dissolution of executive committee of Nzuko Aro at home, following the protracted leadership crisis that had dogged the branch.

The P-G announced the dissolution on July 16, during the Central Executive Working Committee (CEWC) meeting hosted by Abuja branch at Main Auditorium of the Cyprian Ekwensi Centre for Arts and Culture.

Consequent upon the dissolution, he further declared that both factions of the home branch, namely the Jerry Onwumere-led and the Paul Ogbonnaya-led executive committees cease to be effective.

Apparently, the action of the CEWC is to save the union from further degeneracy at the home level.

In its stead, and to avoid a vacuum, the CEWC said it would set up an interim committee to manage the affairs of Nzuko Aro at home pending the conduct of an election within three to six months hence.

The announcement was one of the high points of the Abuja meeting, where the immediate past P-G, Mazi (Amb) George Ezuma, formally handed over the Nzuko Aro leadership insignia to Udensi.

After receiving the hand-over notes, Udensi reminded Umu Aro present at the meeting that the electioneering was long over, noting that Nzuko Aro remains one, under one leadership umbrella.

Thus, he urged all Umu Aro who were involved in the election to unite for the good of Arochukwu Kingdom, assuring that everyone will be drafted, one way or the other, to work for the development of Arochukwu.

Specifically, he further said, assignments will be given out through committees, such that everyone will have a sense of service for fatherland.
